Interro Quartet

Interro Quartet combines passionate performances with a commitment to arts education and accessibility.  Featuring violinists Eric Kim-Fujita and Dr. Sang Kyun Koh, violist Maxime Despax, and cellist Sebastian Ostertag, Interro Quartet has quickly established themselves through performances at Music Mondays, the Arts and Letters Club, Festival L’Art de la Musique, Heliconian Hall, Thursday at Noon Series (University of Toronto), and the Midwest Violin Caucus (University of Northern Iowa), and the West End Micro Music Festival. Through unique programming, outreach, and collaborations, the quartet aims to question and energize chamber music for an ever-changing world.

Tene Ward

National Ballet of Canada

Currently in the Corps de Ballet with The National Ballet of Canada. Tene has previously worked for The Australian Ballet and Dutch National Ballet. She is one of the core subjects in the documentary “Swan Song” which made its premiere at TIFF 2023. Tene's repertoire includes The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Balanchine's Serenade, Angels’ Atlas, The Nutcracker, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Anna Karenina and Midsummers Night’s Dream among many other works. Tene is an extremely organized, detailed and passionate creative due to her extensive artistic background in dance.

Dr. Elaine Choi

Chinese-Canadian conductor Dr. Elaine Choi contributes to Toronto's vibrant choral community as a passionate conductor, educator, adjudicator, choral singer and collaborative pianist. She is the Director of Music at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church and Artistic Director of Pax Christi Chorale. Elaine is also the founder and artistic of Babεl, a chamber choir dedicated to bridging cultures through choral music. 

TSO School Concerts - Sing Song

February 6-8, 2024

Grade 2 to 4 students from our participating schools will be transported to Roy Thomson Hall for the Toronto Symphony Orchestra School Concert series. We believe that the concert and arts venues of our city should be experienced and enjoyed by everyone. Giving children the sense of belonging in these spaces at a young age will give them the confidence to enjoy our finest halls for years to come.
